Depends what is early and what you are trying to accomplish

Where do you want to pull them to? Across the green? Back to the shop? Might want to clarify your question and provide a bit more info.

sorry about the post, This spring is a cold one and my temps are not getting over fifty very often. and golfers are getting itchy . I have thoughts of taking my tarps off for the year, due to pressure from up above. But feel the longer they are down the better. Have people seen problems after cold nights in the mid 20s. So I have some power to let the power above know my thoughts . This is only my second years with tarps.

You could create problems if you leave them on too long - where are you located?

Ease them back in by uncovering when still cool before you get play...I don't see any issue uncovering with temps overnight in 20's...

yea I know , But if some one told you to jump off a bridge with them would you. That is why I'm getting heat. I have temps on , this coming Monday of 33 high and 20 for a low. and Tuesday does not look much better and by wed. temp up again. That is why , I think should wait until then. that golf course is about 1 mile form me. How ever the temp also today is 65 high. And money is also the big question. I don't have the man power to take on and off all week either. That is why does it hurt them to be pulled early

What type of covers are you using? What are you trying to accomplish?

Here we use covers to prevent winter desiccation. I put them on in late November or early December and we pull them as soon as we get a chance in early March. Our climate is probably about 2 to 4 weeks behind yours in transitioning to spring. Our elevation is 6100 feet. As soon as the soil starts to thaw, the root zone can then function and the plant can hydrate itself.

I'm not trying to pull the covers off and say "viola, summer conditions." I'm trying to get them through the winters which are wide open and the winds blow non-stop, while the soil is frozen. I'd much rather error on the side of pulling the covers too early than too late.
