Latitude 36 vs Northbridge Bermuda in SW Missouri

    Found some out of the Tulsa area but the farmer says it is limited. He offered a "Farm Variety" that is $0.16/ ftsq vs the NTEP trial varieties of Latitude 36 or Northbridge for $0.22/ft. Do you think it is worth the extra 2 grand to go with the tested variety over Farm selection? This would be for a driving range tee that is almost 35,000 ftsq

    I really like these grasses, but they weren't bulletproof from the winter either

    For a range tee i don't see why you wouldn't try to save the money.

    Latitude has been all the rage here in DC but we are hearing alot of complaints about traffic tolerance. Our sports field manager on campus has already switched back to Patriot midfield and goal mouths on Ludwig Field (soccer). Kenneth Ingram, UMD.

    I'm pretty sure I know the farm variety you are talking about. I would use it on a range tee with out question.I'm in the Tulsa area and we just replaced some of our collars with it.
