Hey guys, we had a little issue in our tank last week and it led to us really paying good attention to the agitation in the tank on our Multipro 5700-D Sprayer.

It agitates but really only well on the left side of the tank as all 3 agitators face that way. Just wondering if anyone has changed something up and how it worked for them. Our biggest problem is only ever with Signature!

    Thanks!

    Andrew,

The agitation really stinks on that model. Otherwise it is a pretty good sprayer. We now use Appear instead of Signature to avoid the mixing issues. Toro apparently offers a kit to improve the agitation on the 5700. You might want to call your distributor about this.

    Andrew,

Not sure about the set-up of the 5700, but we had agitation issues with our 1250 so we changed all of our agitation nozzles to smaller orifice ones. It basically went from water flowing out the nozzles to blasting out. I also mix/load with the pressure around 10lbs which also greatly improves the agitation (hydraulics aren't my thing so how that works is beyond me). Hope this helps.

All 3 of the agitator nozzles have a 1/16" orifice (that's the size drill bit that fits through the opening when I have to unclog it)
You're saying agitation on your 1250 is better at TEN psi as apposed to say 75 psi? That's interesting I'll have to look in the tank when the pressure is lower.

Yes, night and day better. You could try increasing the orifice size on a nozzle or two and see if that helps.
