   Football is in full force this week............lots of big games and a great weekend for college football
   
   USC vs Utah +14 the last time these two played in Utah was 1917 .......that was the first time either Joan Rivers or Nancy Pelosi first used botox..........Trojans in a romp..........one of the other 2 Utah teams might make it closer
   
   Washington vs Oregon -24......Ducks have won 8 in a row by at least 17 points........no reason not to Saturday
   
   FSU vs NC State +14.5........Pack is at the back of the pack in pass defense.....Noles to cover
   
   LSU vs Florida +2.5.............hate to do it but Gators should win in the Swamp.......payback for the a$$ kicking of last year in Baton Rouge
   
   Georgia vs South Carolina -2.5......great game and could go either way........will take the Cocks only because of hme field advantage but don't bet your house
   
   Kansas vs KSU - 24.........Wildcats should cover......Snyder owns the Hawks
   
   WVU vs Texas -6.5...........sorry but don;t see the line being this big.......I love the hillbillies........Smith may sew up the Heisman weekend
   
   Notre Dame ve Miami...+13.........not the matchups of past games between these two......Irish to win and cover
   
   Nebraska vs OSU -3.5.........two good quarterbacks but the Nebraska defense or lack thereof is sorry....shuold take the black shirts away and wait on another recruiting class before handing out any more...Bucks win
   
   WSU vs Oregon State -15.........wow two teams from Oregon playing ball...........Beavers cover a close one
   
   GaTech vs Clemson -10........Jackets ahve given up over 1000 yards the last two weeks.......no let up against the Tigers............a strong bet in my opinion on the Tigers
   
   MSU vs Kentucky +9.5........cannot see the Wildcats slowing down the dogs.........
   
   Oklahoma vs Texas Tech +5.5..........defense finally in Lubbock........should be a close one
   
   UCLA vs Cal -2.5...........Cal falling fast......sorry Pete......but still not a big fan of Mora and the Bruins but should win

   Ugly week to be in the Top 10 as three fell by the wayside........my Tigers stunk up the Swamp as I figured they would.........the Noles went down which I did not predicte and the Dawgs fell to the Gamecocks as I had guessed they would..........other than Bama I think it's a wide open year for the BCS.

   Those Noles ruined what was a great weekend. I didn't see the game thank goodness, but was shocked when we got home and I saw the score. While we were waiting for the band scores, we had checked the score with just under 3 minutes and FSU had the ball and they were up. Our band did great finished in 2nd place just .05 points behind first place. I was smiling from ear to ear all the way home.
   
   Of course 2 weeks ago I was surprised as I checked the score against Clemson after we had the trucks loaded and FSU was behind. Was surprised when we got home and I finally checked the score and was pleasantly surprised.
   
   I'm glad I've got band scores to watch.....football sucks. At least that victory against Florida will be sweet, especially if the Gators survive their Georgia and South Carolina games.
   
   My wife's hat got to move up on the pedestal of power, but even it got trumped by the band hat.
