anyone using a Toro 5700 to spray greens? looking to purchase new sprayer and would like a larger one for roughs and fairways. Was told psi on greens were about the same as 1250 sprayer because of longer wheelbase and wider tires. what yall think?

Did it for years out of neccesity. Was our only sprayer at the time. We currently spray with a 200-gallon, just don't fill it up all the way.

Only downside to the 5700 is the turning radius. Need lots of room to turn around greens.

I was in the same boat as Andy, loved using it, and just didn't have to fill it up all the way, worked fine for me even in a grow in situation no tracks.

300 gal Jake DS 300 on greens fairways and rough. I fill it to the brim for greens when I have to with no noticeable footprints. It also turns on a dime. From what I hear the Toro Diaphragm pumps can be a headache. This has a stainless steel centrifugal running directly off the engine. I dump blocks of ferrous sulphate directly in the tank with no premixing. It is like a garbage disposal.

We have used a 300 gal Multi-Pro since 2004 grow-in on our newest course. No tracking EXCEPT when the front tires begin to wear to the point of replacement you will get a tire mark that may last a day or two. Simple remedy - replace the tires. Other than that we always fill our tank to the brim when spraying greens.

I just got a TORO multi pro 5800 300\GAL and love it. We use it for all applications. I have 3ac of greens and put 150 gal with no issue on my greens just change your direction.

Used one for many years over greens but only filled just over half.
