We're considering a new option this year in our overseeding regime that consists of using the Barenbrug SOS 211 seed. Having never used this seed, wondering if anyone has had good or bad results using it. The 211 is supposed to be the "ideal" overseeding choice for our area; won't check out to early and won't stick around until August.

    Thoughts?

I'm interested in this as well. I am thinking about doing our practice holes using different rates on tees and fairways. I'll keep you posted on what I'm doing Andy.

    Andy,
I have used it for the past 3 years with great results. I am in South Florida I am doing more of an inter-seeding than overseed. We go 275 lbs per acre, outstanding color but when you stand over the ball you still see bermuda so no transition issues. Contact Roger Crenshaw(rcrenshaw@barusa.com) he has picturesof my fairways.
