   I am driving my mother to Little Rock to do some visiting in a couple of weeks.
   I would like to play a couple of rounds while there. I Google Earthed a course across HWY 10 from Maumelle Lake.
   It looks exclusive (gaurd house) and the Chamber of Commerce does know what I am asking about. Does any one know this courses name and the super? Recommend any other courses there to check out?

   Maumelle Country Club is the most exclusive course in the area. That's the one you want to play. His greens have been rolling 12.5" for the last few days. Very nice joint. Jason Baker is the Superintendent. He's a super nice guy, and for a few microbrewery beers under the table, he'll get you on!

   Of course Jason has had his stimp meter pointing down hill. As I told him, I didn't think there was a flat spot in Arkansas. Unless it's way south?

   Dennis that's the norm in July August down here.......lots of humidity to go with high temps.........if you stay in it enough you will eventually get acclimated to this furnance.

    Mel, I was not the coach other than helping my son. Former coach to some of them but not this team.
    
    Others, It is hot and ugly in central or NE Arkansas. Fall may be ok but right now I wouldn't plan a vacation to Little Rock area or NE area. To damn hot and dry!
