Just found out that my Boss will be in SD at the same time during our 2016 GIS. He has asked to walk the trade show one afternoon with me and I am not finding such an option in the registration packages. I would hope there would be an option for a non-member employer to do such a thing with a fully registered member for a semi-affordable price. Please let me know my options.

Scroll down to trade show only and there is that option, otherwise worth a call to HQ to find out if there is a cheaper option

Took my green chairman once as he was in Atlanta at the time one of the best things I ever did.

    Thanks for posting,

Haven't been in a couple of years, boy the price jumped from the last time I went. Not that I guess that price is bad for what we get, but sure makes it tough for small budgeted courses, especially with hotel and airfare.

last time I went to San Diego a couple of years ago, I found a hotel for $80 a night and flight was about $500, and I think registration was under $400.

Has San Diego gotten that more expensive? I do like it because I was next to a GCSAA hotel and use their shuttle bus, and also used the trolley a lot.

Thanks guys, I will call the Mothership and seek an option less than 345.00. No way my Boss makes it more than 2 hours on the trade show floor.

Been a few years since I attended a conference, but I agree with Mel. I believe my last registration fee was somewhere in the $350 range. $420 - $520 for members and $270 - $320 to merely walk the floor is excessive, which is motivation enough not to attend.

    Good Afternoon Troy!

Sorry for the delay in passing along this information. Your GM can actually join you on the trade show on Thursday afternoon from 1-5 PM. During that time, admission to the trade show is complimentary. I hope that this time frame will fit within both of your schedules.

Look forward to seeing you in sunny San Diego!
