   i have 2008 toro 5500d fairway mower it wont make it up hills when mowing.i went thru the fuel system come to find out i did have bad injectors.it helped a little bit but still wont make it up hills when mowing.

   Toro had a run of bad wheel motors in their 5500 series mowers. Not sure if all models had the issue or just the 5510's we run. They switched manufacturers shortly therafter and solved the problem. I'd contact the dealer for help. Ours had the same problem and were taken care of under warranty, no questions asked.
