   It is with profound sadness that we share with you the news of the death of former GCSAA staff member Lanie Griffin. Lanie served as GCSAA's manager of membership and diversity outreach from 1999-2009. The obituary is linked below. Since many of you knew and worked with Lanie during her time with GCSAA, we felt it appropriate to share this news with the membership. On behalf of GCSAA's board of directors and staff, our condolences go out to Lanie's family during this difficult time.

   Scott, Thanks for sharing this with us. I had the pleasure to work with Lanie during her time she was at GCSAA and appreciated her efforts is assisting us with getting our high school students we brought to the GIS registered and in to some good programs while they were there. She and her family will be in our prayers in the days ahead.
