I'm looking to install a small electric powered spreader on a Gator or Progator for fertilizing surrounds and odd spots. I was wondering if anyone has any pics or setups that has worked for you?

Did it do what you wanted to do with it? I'm not looking to do putting surfaces with it.

I've seen online the Spyker and the Earthway. How do you like either one? Dislikes?

    Thanks.

I really like my Lesco Truckster 2 spreader. Mounted on the back of my Pro Gator.

I put a Scotts electric and then a Lesco electric on a Cushman years ago. Installed a female plug next to the rear light and wired it into the light circuit. Flip the light on, and the impellor started spinning. Very easy, very fast, and the spreader worked very well for greens, surrounds, and tees.

We built this spreader / sprayer cart for our greens last May, it's our third generation using a spyker spreader and we love it. We added an air cylinder to open and close the spreader which has worked flawlessly. The spreader comes off in order to use the sprayer and there's a foamer mounted under the cart for the fertilizer operation. They've updated the Spyker Spreader since the first one we purchased moving the motor under the spreader giving more room in the hopper. It's been a great spreader one we will continue to use in the future.

I went the cheap route. Mounted it to a 2 x 6 and c-clamp it to the bed of the cart. Spreads good enough to do odd areas and even tees.
