I am looking for some feedback on spray rigs. We are looking at leasing to replace a broke down JD. What are your thoughts on the one you have pro and cons?

Just picked-up a John Deere 200-gallon on a ProGator. So far so good. Great price as well.

Ditto - I chose the diesel.

We have two John Deere 300 gal sprayers on the Pro Gators. This is our second year with them and they have been very good units. Took the guys a little while to get comfortable with them after years of running a hydrostatic unit, but now they love them.

I just looked at the John Deere 300 gallon sprayer on the diesel progator and was impressed. What pumps did you guys choose, the diaphragm or centrifugal? How's the mixing agitation and the tee jet computer control? The price is outstanding and blows away the competition!

    Thanks for the help.

I like my Smithco 3180. I would love to upgrade to the ag style boom kit but other than that no complaints other than it FLIES through diesel.

Is it YOUR sprayer or the club's sprayer?

Smithco 1600 with 160 gallon tank, Raven controller and a very sturdy boom system for us. Love it!

I probably should put this in shop talk but here goes, I am in the midst of rebuilding an old Toro 1100 and need a new boom assembly and control valve bank. The rig was stripped down and used to water flowers so it has a hose right out of the pump with a ball valve. I would rather not use Toro and would prefer after market for cost savings.

    Thanks

I have made my own boom controls with 5 ball valves and a pressure gauge. One valve for each boom and two in series: 1- on/off and 1- regulate pressure. If you shut a boom off you learn to adjust the pressure valve.
