Boy I can sure tell when it is GIS show time, everyone is too busy out at the show to post anything. Hope everyone is having a good time and learning lots of things.

I learned I should have left the BJ table when I was ahead.

Pete, Isn't that about the time they change dealers and put the good looking dealer at your table?

It's usually about the time when I'm on a streak and some dufus sits down and immediately splits sixes with a dealer five showing.

If you are betting on the dealer to bust, then splitting 6's is the smart money move. If you are lucky, you can get double down opportunities too. Of course, the dealer will then turn over 15, and hit a 6 for 21!!

    Mel,

The boys; Pete, Steve, Steve, Steve, Red, Scott, Sean, and the rest of the heathens are spending a lot of time in services at the local house of the almighty. No time left over for the forum. Looks like its just you and me, two pro-fresh-on-als working the pro-fresh-on-al forum. Don't worry heathen boys, we'll keep a light on for ya.

Hey I'm still here. City wouldn't let me go even though it's close enough to drive to. Perception and all. I guess they're right, especially now that there are BJ tables there.

I wasn't allowed to go as I was in AC once and hit on 19, pulled a 2 and cleared the table. Had an ace and an 8, and just was thinking I had nine. (I know I told that story before but thought I would tell it again, want to warn anyone of you out there what to watch for)

I worked there in the 70's and early 80's Tim. It was called Two Bridges CC because the Passaic and Raritan rivers meet about a mile or two down the road.I think the road is named Two Bridges also. Man, do those floods ever suck. we had 4 major ones in the 13 years I was there. I don't miss that at all.

Tim, I used to live in the house off the 6th hole as part of my compensation. Thought about painting a target on the side it got hit so much. The water never reached it though. Did it this time? The closest was just about to the driveway

    David,
The water was just past the driveway, that is now the 13th hole...it was entirely underwater. I am in the house currently and there is a par 3 tee at the back of the lawn so hitting the house may be a little less common.
