Hi. Does anybody have a solution to get rid of chickweed in a bent grass green. Tried hand plugging but very time consuming. Is there a herbicide that may help.
    Thanks, Steve

The Andersons K-O-G (ai dicamba) is labeled for chickweed on greens.

    Steve,

I regularly spray quicksilver for moss at a maintenance rate of 2oz/A but have seen a good reduction in the chickweed population. It's not a quick kill but but a slow steady decline, which has worked well because some of the patches were several inches in diameter so this gives the bent time to repopulate.

I use Lontrel in a 32 oz. squirt bottle. We put 1/4 of an ounce in the bottle. Hold the bottle close to the green/tee/collar when you apply it and none will even touch the bentgrass, that way you don't have to worry about phyto to the bent. Works great on chickweed, clover, and others.
