   We are looking for a good metal detector to help us locate irrigation valves, quick couplers, etc at the course. Just wondering what other courses are using that work well for you?

   I used one that had a setting for all types of metals and let's you know the depth of objects found, it worked great. I plan on buying one too real soon!

   I have tested a few metal detectors and found the Tessoro Silver Sabre to be a great machine. I use it for research trials to locate the corners of test plots by inserting a fendeGr washer vertically into a slit cut into the turf with a knife.
