I helped my son move to Washington over the weekend and besides Napa, we made a stop in Oregon to visit a few of the wineries. If you ever are in the northern end of the Willamette Valley, make a point of visiting Domaine Serene and their immediate neighbor Domaine Broughain. I might be wrong on the spelling on that but it is across the street from Domaine Serene. They are the two most beautiful wineries I have visited. They sit on a hill overlooking the valley from all angles. The buildings are great and the wine is excellent, some of the best Pinot Noir you will ever taste. They are in the small community of Dundee and are absolutely worth making the effort to visit. I had forgotten just how great the scenery is from Redding into Washington. It was a ton of driving Thursday and Friday but well worth it.
