Went thru a few floods years ago. We had lots of dead turf after one particular flood. The silt that remained after the water receded was the biggest issue. We used a fire hose connected to a hydrant (with a water meter of course) to blow as much slit as possible off the playing surfaces...and lots of manpower with squeegees, shovels, rakes, etc. We then quadruple aerified, slit seeded, drop seeded, broke up the plugs, and fertilized. We seeded the fairways with bent and the rough with straight perennial rye. Both came in fast and dense. Bent germinates almost as fast as rye so don't be afraid of time with bent.
