Michael Armstrong said: I have the same issue with my OSMAC system. I have looked into the Barracuda but have not pulled the trigger yet. I have been talking to my Toro rep lately and they have come up with a solution that is similar to Barracuda. You do not need to replace the cards in the field and they upgrade the people finder for a price comparable to Boardtronics. If you have reservations about the Boardtronics solution contact your Toro rep and talk to them about this.
I was in on the webinar 2wk's ago and you do need to replace all your cards in the field for better reception. Even if you transmit narrow band and receive wide band, the interference would be a real pain. Also, from what I understand, Toro will not warranty other than their own components. If you have it, no issue. I have the Toro RDR, Thank God..and I'm with NSN also. I believe you can look up the pre recorded webinar and find out for yourself.
