I am looking for some ideas on a mowing direction board for my staff on a daily basis. Greens, tees, and fairways mostly. Thanks for the help!

We used an 8x4ft. board from that we bought from Staples. It was big enough to put job duties, weekend schedule, mowing patterns, reminders, and still had room to spare. I used a sharpie king size marker and an eight foot level to make all the lines. Turned out very nice and the crew liked everything being in one spot.

We use a white board for all that information. It will say the job (greens for example), the three people mowing greens that day and the mowers they are supposed to use along with a drawing of the direction and cleanup or no cleanup.

To keep track of what direction we went we have a small wall calendar to show the previous directions as well as the pin order. (Front Middle Back).

Our cups go Front Middle Back, Front Middle Back etc etc through the course. Many of our customers only play league once a week and with three 9's they have noticed our cup changing order seemed to follow their play so the cup was always in the same zone when they played. With the calendar we can quickly see what the last three or four weeks have been and adjust to break a pattern.

I took a paint pen and wrote the directions and corresponding days on the fender of the greens mower. Tee and fairway mowers get a direction line next to the job on the board.
