    All,
Curious to know if anyone has found a product to cover a concrete path with a 'playable' solution...

Like synthetic turf, hog hair mating, synthetic turf with sand/rubber topdressing etc...

There is a par 3 with a cart path in play (160'!) that the superintendent is looking for a solution to. Any suggestions would be great!

Removing the path and/or relocating the path is not an option...

Can the path between the tee and green be removed entirely? Or can the "in play" portion of the path be replaced with a more forgiving material such as crushed granite or the like? Or the grass honeycomb material. It seems to be a dime a dozen and can be found anywhere.

Conveyor belt material works pretty good. I've used it on bridges before to cover wood. Haven't tried it on concrete but would think it would soften the bounce to a great degree. Got it from the local bearing store and it came in any length I needed but I think 36" was the widest I could find.

Maybe Ken Mangrum at AAC could chime in. I think he tried that about 25 years ago. Maybe 30.
