    Hello All

Looking to purchase a Laser level for my course to use for projects from tees to drainage. Looking for something that could give me slope as well. Hoping not to break the bank.
Any advice on a brand/ model unit?
    Thank in advance

I have a Lasermark Wizard level. It has been great for projects and it did not break the bank. I bought mine about 5 years ago and paid $300.00 for it. Here is a website I just found with one like what I have: http://www.engineersupply.com/CST-berge ... a_7cES1281
This unit is manual leveling, but easy to setup. You can spend the extra money and buy a self leveling, but the manual leveling will probably do you just fine.

Whatever brand you purchase, I highly suggest getting the automatic leveling feature. You won't realize just how glad you will be to have the feature unless you don't get it.

Nothing beats an old transit and /or laser lever and rod. Laser versions run for about $300-400 and can bet set up however you want. Do the math to get your fall percentage. We have one in our company and it rarely sits still. Old transits are great, cheap and affordable, but require two people. Both work wonders.

I liked my CST until I let it sit 6 months still. Corrosion from batteries ruined a few hundred dollar investment. I agree an old transit style works great I've used them for many a project and they never let me down. For those that say I should have removed the batteries...sure, but I figured 6 months wouldn't have caused that kind of damage.
