I might know this answer since the label is the same for Revolver but how important is cleaning the tank with Ammonia when spraying Katana as the label states?

I will admit in the past after spraying Revolver just rising with fresh water, then using Cleary tank cleaner and then triple rinsing with fresh water or maybe even double rinsing. So far with Katana I have been using Ammonia in the first tank after but I am having a hard time finding it at Wal Mart.

I'm wondering if it's an ingredient that's used in cooking meth?

    Thanks, Mel

Never had a problem finding ammonia in a Walmart, Kmart etc. Always use it after anything containing 2,4 D.

Maybe it's just the Wal-Mart closest to the golf course, picked up 2 gallons a couple weeks ago, went back yesterday and they only had 1, even asked someone to check and see if they had more in the back. No luck.

According to Andy's link, Ammonia house hold type isn't an ingredient in Meth, but seeing Missouri is the meth capital, maybe the cookers have found a way to use it? Or nobody buys Ammonia here in the Ozarks, only use the pre-made cleaners (well those that clean I guess?) Just frustrating.

    Thanks,

Robert, I will basically triple rinse the tank no matter what I had in it before I take it back on greens. Sometimes especially after spraying Katana or Revolver, I will triple rinse and then spray something on the same area as I sprayed the Katana, like on Wednesday I sprayed Katana on about 8 acres of fairways, and then after cleaning, I sprayed 21-0-0 on a different 8 acres of fairways, then cleaned again before spraying greens on Friday.

I have to say I've never had a problem either, but I'm sure knocking on wood.
