Paul, we've had good luck with Trimec bentgrass formula and a sponge/tube applicator. The swine cress gets lit up a day or two after, making it very noticeable what you hit and missed, and it will definitely leave a little void as it goes out. I've had best results starting dabbing week before aerification. By the time golfers notice what's going on we've closed the greens for punching, and by the time the greens heal up the spots have generally healed also.

Paul, I inherited quite an infestation of swinecress on our greens when I took over 13 years ago. Fought it hard with broadcast then spot treatments of trimec bent and KOG with ok results, but it would reappear annually in late fall. Reduced populations using those products but it was still there. Also had silvery thread moss to some degree on all our sand based greens. Started using Quicksliver for moss control when it came to market and lo and behold no more swinecress. Initially began with two spring apps @.154/1000 two weeks apart prior to aerating, followed by two additional fall apps at same rate and frequency as soon as we saw the first signs of swinecress. Once we got everything under control, tweaked the programs application frequency to as needed with good success.
