Pressure washing the surface would be the quickest, easiest and cheapest way to go. You'd also be surprised at how much more traction this will give you by blasting away the surface of the path. Keep it on a routine when needed, and it will help.
A long term solution would be ripping it out, then repouring the path and finish with a garden rake so grooves are present. You could also do it now by using a concrete saw and cutting lines into the path every 1" or so across the path. This is actually quicker than you think by simply just laying down a 1 x 4 as a straight edge cutting the grove 1/4" or so deep.
There are also some epoxy coatings that you can get with traction grit to put in them. We applied this product to our cart barn floor this past summer and it has great traction when wet. We got it from Sherwin Williams.
