We had an extremely wet conditions until mid summer. Now it is extremely dry. I have 100's-1000's of frogs in and around my pump house. My wet well has any where from 30-50 frogs daily in it. I would like to get rid of the frogs before winter when they will die off and sink to the bottom of the wet well. I am afraid of them being sucked up into the irrigation system. Any solutions out there. I am located the north central plains.

Leave those frogs alone, your pump can certainly handle the occasional dead critter.

We had a similar problem with frogs inside our irrigation clocks. So through a suggestion from another super we sprinkled citric acid in the bottom and around the outside of the clocks and it did the trick....no more frogs! In your case i would spread some citric acid around the wet well and maybe around the outside of your pump house. Good luck...let us know if it worked.

A couple bass might clear them up.
