Paspalum weed control in Cool Season Turf Cancel The title field is required!

   Gents,
   
   I'm on an all year cool-season course in Azerbaijan, borderline transition zone climate.
   
   I have a huge issue with paspalum in our kentucky bluegrass fairways. It's a native grass to some areas here a few fairways were quite badly contaminated during grow-in.
   
   We are going with maunual removal currently, but it's very laborious. I can't find any information on a chemical control and not sure if there are any products out there that would kill off paspalum from the bluegrass.
   
   I'd be glad to hear any thoughts on control or experiences with similar situations.

   Saw some info on VATech site about Pylex at 1oz/A controlling Paspalum in Turf Type Fescue, might be worth a try.

   Is your golf course along the coast line as it looks like the geography of the region would only be transitional along the coast? Is the noxious paspalum very coarse textured?

   Hi Michael.
   
   It's not course textured, pretty smooth. And yeah we are on the coast the are jutting out in to the caspian sea, this is the part of the country that isn't green on google maps - it's a rough desert area and we are up at almost 100 degrees on all cool season right now. I can't imagine any product could take care of this problem, especially with the heat stress the cool season grasses will be under right now.
