I've debating using tebuconazole over propiconazole for my snow mold app next year. Currently on greens/tee/fairways I use a 3floz/M rate of prop, but at the .6floz/M rate of tebuconazole the savings is significant. I'm in upstate NY and we tend to get around 25" of snow per month Dec-Feb, its been less the past few years. Just wondering if any of you out there have tried this? I do mix with Chlorothalonil and Iprodione on Fairways and Tees and add T-methyl to the mix on greens.

I think you'd be fine after all its just another DMI. I sprayed propiconazole(2 oz rate) and chlorathalanil on fairways this year. Tees were Chlorathalanil, Curalan and Tebuconazole. I'm a little south of Buffalo so we get some snow also. Time will tell but we did leave some checks to see how much pressure we actually had.

Thanks a lot Matt. If you don't mind, please let me know how it all works out.

I've found that using Quintozene (PCNB) has been the best way to protect against both types of snow mold. Spraying just before a snowfall (usually in december) gives great protection throughout the winter

I use generic(Banner) High A/I Spectator 41% and If I have a little generic chlorothalonil left over I throw that in for a cheap but effective control here in SE PA. Haven't seen any snow mold where I sprayed in 9 years with that combo. You don't need snow cover to get the worst type of snow mold. I even have a little Spectator left over for a spring cleanup app.
