I am planning to spray a Plant Food Aerification fertilizer blend. My rep recommended not tank mixing a fungicide with it. However, being at a Muni wit ha lot of spray, the more I can put in one tank the better. I am looking for information from someone who has mixed a fungicide or insecticide with Plant Food products.

Have done it multiple times, but the big question is what products are you putting out? Do the plant food products need to be watered in immediately, but fungicide need to dry? Its not a cut and dry one easy answer scenario.

I do not know the answer to your mix issue, but when in doubt a jar test can usually give you a pretty good idea about compatibility. I also wanted to let you know that at our club when we have both a foliar and soil we generally spray and wait to irrigate for two hours. This allows the plant to absorb nearly all the foliar needs but still allows the soil products to be pushed to the root zone. It can be a pain with groups on the course but allows for one spray with both purposes. Something you may consider we have had good results.
