Looking for some good ideas for equipment lifts, lifting tables and mower reel carts for golf course maintenance. Our heated part of the shop is very small (33' w x 42' l x 11' h), therefore we are limited. Could put into cold storage building or outside if necessary.

Also, looking for ideas to save on back injuries. Lifting the reels or decks from the floor to the grinder without hurting the mechanic that is working alone.

Any pictures, your own ideas and purchase information is very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

I installed a electric hoist system hanging from my ceiling of my shop. basically we have a metal building with the steel beams. I install two I beams the width of my shop added another the width I wanted going under the other two using two steel trolleys and bought a medium size hoist from Northern tool. I added a retractable electric line above it. my building is about 20'x40' and we cover 1/2 (one side) of the shop with it. this lifts just about anything we want on our bench. on the other side of the shop I added a 2 post golf lift. we park our chemical sprayer in that slot when not using the lift and we have also used the lift to hoist up equipment above the sprayer when needed. it locks so that is not an issue.

I would add pics but to be honest unless this site has changed it requires you to use outside host to store the pic link to. I do not use outside storage.

its pretty simple and cheap to build the trolley system. I think you could do it for under $1,000
