Growth regulator on fairways Cancel The title field is required!

   We have been applying Primo to our bluegrass fairways for the past 9 years. We began the program for more consistent growth during the season. In doing so we eliminated mowing on the weekends, mowing 3 days a week instead of 4. The reel bench setting is .700 and actual height of cut using the prism is .40
   
   We received comments from a handful of our golfers that they can tell the difference in height when we eliminated the weekend mowing. We started checking the height of cut using a prism and did not see a significant amount of change with having one more day of not mowing. Has anyone else seen or heard of similar results/comments? What are others doing with growth regulators on fairways?

   If you are mowing on Fridays then there is no way they can tell the HOC is different on the weekend if your Primo is still effective. Most likely they are seeing the dew on the ground due to you not cutting and then complaining. I have never had this complaint but we never cut fairways on the weekends either.
