I am considering this machine to mow Blue/ Rye/ Poa fairways. Height from .675-.750. Does anyone have experience with this machine ? Email me if you prefer.

John, don't know about the 7700 or how different it is from a 3253C (or B, I have had both, although I wasn't around the B long enough except that we were mowing with the 5" diameter reels on the C we have the large diameter some have called them rough reels) As far as the smaller diameter reels we used to not have to adjust so much, they held their cut really well, this was at 9/16 on rye/blue/poa/bent mixes. On our C with the larger reels on bermuda at 5/8 - 3/4 they do not hold their cut well. Also we have had many issues on our C with where the reels hang on the mower, they wear pretty easily and we have had to replace many parts, although it is a 5 1/2 year old machine with 2200 hours. I wouldn't want another 3235 machine if I could help it.

I run two 7700's mowing native blue/poa fairways at .750, for four years now. The 7" reels were the ticket for us, we'd been mowing with 5" jac and toro's and JD's before. The 7" reels and weight are more suited for our terrain.
