    Hey all:
We had a rough year with winter kill and have been trying all season to seed the collars. Pencross greens also took a hit on our exposed greens here in western MN. Finally got germination about 3 to 4 weeks ago with different practices all spring. Now that they are up and popping, my PGR app is legacy on my collars and greens, is this going to set me back??? young superintendent!!! really appreciate the help from those that I need to learn from!!!

Why do you feel the need to apply a PGR?
Not sure how long your growing season is,but push your seedlings as much as possible to obtain full coverage, you can top dress and groom or vertticut when they mature to help control becoming puffy and thatch.

PGR on seedlings not a good idea unless you know exactly what you are doing. Cutless and Trimmit particularly are harsh on juvenile plants. Without all the details, I would recommend skipping the PGR.

thanks! That's why I decided to skip, but wanted to see if I was skipping the PGR for no reason.
