   While watching the game last night, I couldn't help but think about the comment one of the announcers made. Boise was 5 points from being 53-0. The other amazing number was the QB averaging 12.5 wins a season for his career. I don't care who anyone tends to play, those numbers are just unbelievable. How many times does a team lose a key player to injury and not continue at their previous level of success? Boise has put together an amazing program and sends quite a few to the NFL. Peterson must be a tremendous coach. They lose a ton to graduation this year so 2012 should be interesting. I have to say that Arizona State was the least inspired team I have watched in years. Either they have truly stupid athletes that can't control their emotions or Ericson has devolved into a terrible coach. How many stupid 15 yard penalties did they get last night? A couple of final thoughts to consider. Will Kellen Moore turn out to be another Drew Brees as an under sized super star and will Doug Martin be successful in the NFL? Boise's record against BCS eligible teams is now something like 7 or 8 and zero!

   Yes. No matter what anybody thinks about conference strength etc... Boise deserved better than the Las Vegas whatever bowl.

   Erickson always was a bad coach. He inherited a great team at Miami and a very good one at Oregon State and rode that as far as he could. Don't see him ever coaching again. still don't know why the Pac 12 or Big 12 did not see fit to offer Boise State a spot in their conference.

   The BCS is a bad joke. It is all about the big conferences raking in big money. Boise State belonged in a BCS Bowl. They have a great program and just scare too many programs. Yes next year could be a down year but I do not expect them to fall too far. Its crazy for them to have to go all the way to the Big East, and who even knows what the Big East will look like by the time they move. I do not blame the Sugar Bowl for picking proven Fan Bases but the rest of the country would have loved to see Boise State. Its a great school, a great city, and you can not beat the blue turf!

   I wagered heavily on the Bronco's.........no complaints from me whatever bowl they played in.
