Musketeer on Bent/Poa Greens Cancel The title field is required!

   Curious if anyone is using Musketeer on greens? I have sprayed paclo and Cutless MEC separately, but never together. I know Musketeer has a little bit of primo in it too. More or less curious what you have seen with this product on greens.

   Wow, kind of surprised nobody responded. I guess nobody is using it. Well, I decided to try it out and sprayed it at 12 oz per acre. If anyone is interested with my results, let me know and I will post again to this thread.

   My program includes Paclo, Cutless and Trinex. Paclo and Cutless are alternated at 14 day interval and tank mixed with a light rate of Trinex. So at any one time all 3 PGRs are working. I did try Musketeer but do not any more for these reasons:
   
   1. By using Musketeer, you lose the flexibility of increasing or decreasing the various components. I like the ability to increase my Paclo or Cutless rates as the season warms. I can also decrease if I feel I'm stressing things too much.
   
   2. I found the Musketeer rates were too low for my liking.

   Dustin, what were your rates of Musketeer when you used it? I thought about alternating paclo and cutless as well, but this product was basically given to me so figured I would use it

   At the high rate of Musketeer, I did NOT reach my individual rate desired when I treated with the individual pgrs.

   We are located in East Tennessee and have been using Musketeer exclusively on our Penncross/Poa greens for the last 3 years and have been really happy with the results. We adjust the rate depending on conditions, but with this product we do not see the flush in between apps and we see even regulation throughout the window.

   What is your avg rate and are you using it as a conversion tool? I too have penncross/ poa greens. I went at 12 oz per acre and feel confident next time I could go to 14 or 15 oz per acre.

   We have used rates from 12-18 oz./acre depending on time of year and stress conditions. We use it to manage/suppress poa and feel we are gaining more ground with Musketeer than we have in the past on our 45 year old push up greens. We used primarily primo through the growing season with a paclobutaizol app or two in the spring or fall, but we have been using Musketeer throughout the growing season now.

   We started using Musketeer this year. Per the label, we went with an initial rate of 18 floz/A and followed it up with 22 floz/A applications since. We have also been judiciously using the 290 GDD model from Bill Krueser at U of Nebraska. The results have been phenomenal so far. We are actually making another app as I write this. The regulation is very even and there has been no rebound yet (thanks to the GDD model).
   
   Before this year, I was a tank mix (Trimmit, Cutless, Primo) guy. I liked doing it that way so we could adjust rates based on time of year, growth suppression needed, etc. That is still an option for us too. For me, the Musketeer has made it easier when it comes to mixing as two or three regulators adds that much more to measure. When you are putting 12 products (or more) in a tank, it saves us time. I like the color response from this Musketeer as well. Also, depending on your site and Poa populations, Musketeer won't bronze quite so much.
   
   The GDD tracker has changed everything about my applications. I always thought I had a better handle on timing, but this method has us consistently dialed in!

    I am only one application in, but I am excited about Musketeer so far. I have to treat all my greens like my highest Poa populated greens so 16 oz/A will probably be about as high as I can go, but I will find out. I have the GDD charts, but haven't had time to mess with it yet. How often are you applying, I know it changes but what is your average? Thanks for all the responses, I enjoy these topics.
