    Hi James,

Yes, there will be shuttles to and from the convention center to the hotels that are not within walking distance. Here's a link to a page that lists information on the routes and hours of operation:

    http://www2.gcsaa.org/conference/resources/

Let us know if you have any other questions, and we'll see you in Las Vegas.

    Thank you,
    Sharmion

3 shuttles at national? That was disappointing. Nothing north of Treasure Island... kinda screwed everyone at Bellagio and MGM.

Stayed out at the Rio and rented a car for the week. Actually not too bad as we were able to drive to the convention center or hotel and park each day. All day at the convention center was only $10 and we could come and go as we pleased all day or you could park at the hotel for free or a couple of bucks for the valet. Gave us a chance to get downtown one night and around to different shows and restaurants during the week. The $180 for the rental car along with the $30 I paid parking at the convention center was probably a lot cheaper than a lot of guys were paying to ride cabs around town. While the free shuttles are nice it's also nice to be able to come and go on your own schedule.

Rental car would have been worth it for sure. I was at the Hard Rock Hotel (I didn't book it!!) and spent close to 180 bucks on cabs. An insane total and the cabbies wouldn't take you anywhere but hotels. Landmarks to them meant nothing. Valuable lesson learned. Let's just hope Vegas doesn't happen again anytime soon!!

Left for seminars early and walked everywhere -- by choice.
Did 4-5 miles a day between walking to the LVCC and on the strip, according to my pedometer.
Being able to choose your own hotel is key. Th Riviera was "chosen" for us for some reason and we ended up staying somewhere a little more pleasant. It was a little "Old Vegas" for us, which wasn't why we were there.
Otherwise, loved it, and can't wait to go back. Actually planning a weekend around Christmas break due to having such a nice time.
