Depends how you look at it Steve...glass half full or half empty...

I see it both ways. The bottom is full, the top is empty.

The only time I like to see a half full glass is with a good mixed drink, because I know I am just a half a glass till the next full one.

At my first head job they cut my budget by 30% in the first week from what they told me it would be. I was a sales manager at my second job. When I left on my first vacation after two years they told me not to worry about anything and got fired on the Monday morning I returned. We had met our annual sales goals after 7 months. My third job as a superintendent I needed to possibly leave because my wife was offered a job that paid 4x what I was making. The company had another superintendent who I presumed would have his job expanded to include mine. I met with him to see how my plans jived with his. An hour later I got a call from my boss, "I understand you are leaving us." My next job I oversaw the maintenance of many golf courses with various clients. Each course was in horrifyingly bad condition. Somehow I managed to keep that going for two years. I was let go for being inadequate. My last job led me through the great recession, three major hurricanes, months of lost revenue and a downturn in the golf market. All of my equipment was old including my golf cars, I was responsible for all aspects of the operation and I could not get a answer from finance as to how much I had in my cash general golf account. They decided not to continue my contract that I signed just weeks earlier. After 40 years in golf and 30 years in golf course management, I would be the wrong person to talk to about working with and for crap.
