If I were the Chiefs, I think I would fire every coach and cut every player and start over.

I guess that's why I should never be an owner or gm. I would leave a lot of people behind when traveling to the next city.

    Mel,

Same thing going on here in Stl. We were lucky and got our second victory as well yesterday. I wish we would clean house as well.

Old Woody and Bo would be looking down in glee after Tebow and team win a pro game with only 8 passes! The only comment they would have is that 8 was too many passes. 3 yards and a cloud of dust. If that isn't throw back football, I don't know what is. It may be ugly but somehow Denver is back in the hunt. What an interesting division. My Chargers were highly over rated and really suck and the Chiefs and Raiders can't figure out who they are from one week to the next. I think I am safe to say that no western division team will go very far in the playoffs.

Raiders last week, Chiefs this week. I guess our Chargers are next in line to get "Tebowed." The guy isn't a very good passer, but credit the Broncos coaches & players for figuring out how to win with what they got. When you see teams with little talent figuring out how to be competitive and even win some, then you realize that Norv Turner just is not a good head coach. He's got all the talent in the world and can't get it done.

Looks like a lot of mediocrity this year in the NFL. How does Seattle pull one off on the Ravens? Or the Bills and Lions looking good at the start of the year and getting blown out yesterday? Do the Vikings have a chance tonight? Maybe if Capers can't figure out how to play D again.

Sure the Vikings have a shot now with their rookie quarterback, of course I'm probably biased.

Philip Rivers spent all of Thursday night running for his life. No play action passes that I can remember and the game plan seemed to be no game plan. I think Turner and Smith will both be gone if this continues. Our offensive line can't run or pass block, we don't get to the opposing QB and our defensive backs rarely break up a play, I watch Tom Brady standing flat footed with loads of time yet our guys can't block for Rivers. I don't know if our problems have to do with age, poor coaching or just poor players. I think a house cleaning is due after this season.
