groundsmaster blades turning slow Cancel The title field is required!

   I have a Toro groundsmaster 328 that has about 3000 hours on. Recently when the pto is engaged the blades will only turn about half speed they will not get to full speed. Not sure where to look, everything looks fine.

   Sounds like the PTO belt is worn or loose. This is the belt behind the seat, next to the engine, attached to the PTO clutch. You might also want to check the bearings on the belt pulley, as we have had those go bad as well and it caused the belt to slip. It's a bear to change, since you have to disconnect the drive shaft, but it can be done.
