    Need some guidance and options-

Salsco roller with gas powered Honda engine- someone tried to replace a spark plug mid season and due to an awkward entry angle, ended up stripping the threads on the motor side of spark plug. Because of a 'have to keep it running' situation and no dollars or time for a permanent solution we limped thru the remainder of the season by putting a little JB weld on the plug threads, actually surprisingly worked to get us by. It would blow out about every 20 hrs or so but we were able to end the season with the roller running.
Now that time is on our side I'd like to find a permanent solution but need to hear my options?
Thanks for your time and consideration.

well you can use a heli-coil which is used for these purposes on engines but ultimately you will need to drill and tap it to a larger sized plug or just replace the top of the cylinder head which is what I would be doing since it is the correct way to fix this issue.

Go to NAPA and get a spark plug repair kit. Don't use a heli-coil, the little tab will be in the way and burn off and fall into the cylinder and cause you more problems. They sell a kit, same deal, drill and tap, install the fitting. It's just for plugs and they fit great.

Just for fun....heli-coiling I don't know how hard that is, but I remember at Lake City we did anything we could do to avoid heli-coiling. Thanks for that thought Henry, never knew there was something like that.
