We need to create a temporary irrigation supply of 500 cubic meters or about 132,000 gallons.
We will be using this for our 40,000 sq. mt. nursery that we will use to sprig the golf course with.
The area we will be building the nursery and holding tanks/pond will evential be developed with residential units.
Regulations dictate that it must be covered so just digging a big lake is not really an option.
Other than combining a few big poly tanks or digging a deep smaller hole that can be lined and covered was
wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and has some other ideas?

    Thanks in advance

This is a large company that I'm sure could help you out. If not able to export something for you, could possibly find someone in your area.

I know that Provo Golf Club in Turks and Caicos used bladder bags to hold their irrigation water. You can contact Don Salter who was the Superintendent there for many years at don.salter@horizononline.com, he is a great guy and will help you out.

Fencing off a temporary "pit" that is lined is not an option?

    Timothy,

How are you going to supply water to this holding area? With a logisitcal description it is easier to come up with ideas.

    Saludos Michael

    Michael,

It will be a combination of potable and RO from a mainline that is very unreliable and potable being trucked in with tankers. The main reason for the holding area is the unreliabilty of both volume and pressure. This is a brand new city being built on the Red Sea that covers about 65 square miles and some of the infrastucture was desigined when the city is 100% which is at least 20 years away. We have holding tanks for the golf course, but these are in an area that is not possible to put a nursery the size that is needed.

    Thanks
