I cam into work this morning and found a mild blow out behind my 15th green. The break happened on the side of a hill and all the water and debris ran down across the green. Are flat shovels and man power the best tools I have to get the soil off the grass?

Yes, happened to me a few weeks ago. flat shovels first then I took a hose and washed out the rest out of the canopy. Came out just fine for me.

Lots of aeration in the affected area. No amount of washing and scraping will get rid of the fines.

If it is dry you may be able to get it up with a shop vac
