Toro 3100 D

    We are having a problem with this machine. We can see, visually, the middle real is spinning probably 25% slower than the front two. We took the reel motor off and switched it with the front right reel and that didn't solve the problem, so we switched with the front left, but still everything seemed the same.

    One thing we are noticing though, is that when we engage the reels, the hose leading to the middle reel jerks very hard. The other two hoses don't move hardly at all.

    Has anyone encountered this? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Does your Toro 3100 D have back lap on it. We had an issue with out Toro 3200D and it was the o-rings inside the back lap and speed control on the mower.

    It doesn't have a backlap...
