Anyone have the magic cure for elimination of my friends. Have tried many different approaches to keep them at bay , but have not rid myself of them. Smoke bombs, pellets, and even try to carbon monoxide them with a golf cart. HELP

We trap ours. Follow the mound tunnel down to the main tunnel, set traps both directions, and wait a day or so. Works 80% of the time. Just make sure you tie a rope or small chain to the trap and anchor it in because they will pull the trap in without it. I have a $5 bounty on them with my guys and they'll get 2-3/week.

Here is the link to the University of Florida tech sheet.

We use the Macabee gopher traps. We do the same as Andy does with setting the traps. We also spray WD-40 on the traps before we set them. We are trapping anywhere from 9 to 15 gophers a day, when we do gopher trapping. We are about 85 to 90% on trapping them daily. Make sure to have a rope or chain and a stake so the gophers won't take them with them. One of our problems is that the Coyotes and other wild animals like to take the dead gophers from the traps.

Thanks Andy and Alberto. What type of trap you use Andy? Feel like Bill Murray

Trapping is best for many reasons. We use scissors traps and tie them down. You have to pay attention to fresh mounds and place 2 traps going in opposite directions in the tunnel this way you get them coming and going.

We save all our kills in a special freezer we have and give them to Blue Mountain Wildlife a local raptor rehabilitation nonprofit. They love all the frozen gophers we can give them. http://www.bluemountainwildlife.org/journal.cfm?strt=11/11/2013

We trap ours as well. One thing we have started doing is burying the mole in the tunnel where we caught them. Ive rarely had a time where they come back to the same tunnel
