I am looking for some advice on bent varieties that some of you have had success with. I am located in the Toronto area where we experience hot/humid summers and cold and snowy winters. I am not opposed to blending varieties and the soil will be a sandy loam native soil (same as the rest of our greens). The plan is to use this 1.5 acres of bent to resurface some of our trouble greens in the future.

    Thanks in advance,

007 in the northeast is working in areas where we have used it; grew a new nursery in about 2 years ago using it and its awesome; this season I have been seeding with Crystal Blue Links which is a shade tolerant bentgrass

Hey Andrew, rebuilt our putting green 2 years ago and went with the a1/a4 blend. Been real happy with it once established, early color, so far disease free, good wear tolerance and still well rooted. We do not get the humidity you get but stands up well through the heat of July. Should mention that the location is full sun and and grown in on'100% sand.
