After 14 seasons the reign of # 18 probably comes to an end. Four NFL MVP's, 2 Superbowls, 1 MVP.......passing stats out the kazooo............at the noon press conference we'll know. Not many players have made a bigger imprint on a franchise than this guy. I wish him well.

Lots of choices for him out there.......some are good fits some are not. My first choice is the Houston Texans ....good O line, great wide receiver, great running back and a defense that can dominate. A weak division, with Indy, Tenn and J'ville.........and he would play in a dome. Will he go there........probably not.....the Texans have a good QB in Matt Schaub but they guy has averaged missing nearly 5 games a season in his career...........but it's a great fit. Good luck wherever you go # 18

I'm sad to see Manning leaving Indy after all these years. He's a quality person. I hope he lands with a quality team that has a legitimate chance to make it to the big game.

All things must come to an end eventually. Good luck to Peyton, hope he's truly healthy enough to continue playing and lands in a good spot to do so.

Another reason why pro sports blow. Basically with all the shuffling of the deck chairs anymore all a person can identify with, especially a kid growing up, is a jersey.

David, He needs to go to a team that does not play your Saints too often. With the bounty thing and all, it could shorten his career even more. Someone had to say it. MM

I started thinking about who could use Manning and it works out to about half the teams in the NFL. He makes an ordinary line and receivers into elite players. I figure if he goes to an up and coming team like the Seahawks or Chiefs he can have them in the Super Bowl within two years.

I appreciate your concerns Max..........thanks for bringing that up. That's why I suggested the Texans. Now if they could take care of that Newton guy...................

I just hope his desire to play doesn't over rule the possibility of long term injury. If he is truly healthy he should play. If it is even marginal, walk away with your body and brain in one piece. Neck surgeries are not something you take lightly.

If I were Andrew, I would love to sit the sidelines and learn from the best getting paid millions, then when Peyton retires in 2-3 years, step in and kick some ass. I know that's not how pro sports works but what if...
