Greetings All,
We demoed a Toro 5410 Cross Trax 2009 unit and really liked it and are considering purchasing 3-4 2007-2009 units. It seems there has been some discussion about the reels and set-up and subsequent after-cut issues.
I am curious if anybody would mind filling me in on the problems they are having (had?), what Toro has done, and perhaps more importantly what you guys have done to make it right?
The mower we demoed seemed to cut great but it also came from our Toro distributor and was likely set-up to the T.
I have also recently learned the "Cross-Trax" is an add-on. Have any of you performed this add-on in house and/or know how much of a pain it is? We need 4WD but it seems we can get 2WD units much cheaper than 4WD units. If it is not too bad to perform the install it seems like it may be worth exploring?
