Just received an email from my Greens Chair who is rather unhappy with the amount of grass on the range tee. He has told us to move the ropes to the back of the range, where there is more grass and then stop all other maintenance on the course and get every man on the range to aerate drag and seed.I suggested to him that it would be a rather dangerous situation for the workers. He didn't seem to care.
I guess I'll just ask the members to use irons only so they can clear the heads of the workers.

Some days you just shake your head and hope your brain falls out

Time to think outside of the box Red/Grey. Work with the members using the range and coordinate their swings so that staff can safely move in between swings across the range. It can't be that difficult can it?

Maybe you could suggest, in a kind way of course, that after he takes a divot he requests "time out!" from all those around him so he can safely walk ahead, grab the divot, and replace it. Green side up, of course. Problem solved.
