    Hi,

We have two wells each with their own pump. One is running fine and the other is not pumping any water.

It is reading 14 amperes instead of 26. It has water. We are scheduled to lift cement encasement and remove pump in the morning that is almost 300 feet deep. Have any of you encountered any causes for similar problem that may allow us to avoid going this route? Maybe wiring or circuitry in control house??

The pump is 13 years old without any real servicing.

    Thanks Michael

I am assuming 3 phase. Dropped a phase either in your pumphouse or at the transformer that feeds the pumphouse?
I would certainly look at electrical issues before pulling the pump.

    Thanks Michael,

We had tested all the phases individually. The piping is half out of the ground. We will check the pump electrics and sonda ( float ) electrics when we get them up in an hour or so. Hoping for the best as we are in strongest sun week of the year on the southern Spanish Med coast.

    Saludos Michael
