You might be safe as you have heard going with the environmental friendly approach.
We have aerified in the heat of august, and add on a light rate of trimmit, or cutlass, and I mean half the lowest labeled rate, you might be able to out compete the poa. Plugging though would be a great first choice since the greens are so young. You dont want to kill your young greens. That wouldn't look too good.
Overseeeding with I believe is L-93 which interseeds well with Declaration, but dont quote me, may help when adding to fall aerification. Aerify early has helped us out and we are controlling poa better than ever in the last 5-8 years since we began.
