I have a club car carry all turf 2 about 5 years old. It has been used to push the ball picker on the range. Needless to say it has seen better days. We are replacing the cart and moving the old one to my maintenance fleet. However it needs a new engine. It stalls, doesn't start great, burns major amounts of oil. Anyone know where i can get an engine for this? Club car wants $2800!!! Maybe buying a rebuilt engine or something like that.

If you are a member of the VGM Club, you can get that engine from Stens for about $1,700. If you are not a member of VGM Club, I am not sure what the price would be, but their number is 1-800-457-7444. I have seen brand new engines on ebay before for good prices. I have never used dealt with repowerspecialists.com, but I have heard good things about them as well. LVS Sales sells rebuilt engines for $825.00 http://www.lvssales.com/store/home.php?cat=213
